What was the Challenge?
Navitel® wanted to offer Western European maps with most up-to-date data on infrastructure, interchanges, and other important road information. The map also needed to allow searches for specific addresses, nearest POIs, coordinates etc..based on AND’s geodata. NAVITEL® and AND combined their knowledge, experience and know-how so that NAVITEL® could provide worldwide address search, geocoding, mapping and navigation across borders between all countries
Navitel® maps cover more than 6 million kilometers of road, almost 4 million Points of Interest and about 372,500 cities and municipalities. The following countries are included within “Western Europe”: Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Vatican, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland and Sweden.
